In Kids Ministry, we believe each child is a gift from God and we take that seriously as we welcome kids into the children’s ministry department with the conviction of pointing them to Christ. The Bible is clear that parents are to be the primary spiritual leaders in the lives of their children and we want to do everything we can as a church to encourage, empower, and equip parents in this role. We come alongside the parents as we help to provide a strong foundation for kids by sharing Bible stories with them while teaching them the importance of making the decision to become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our volunteers are key in the success of what happens in Kids Ministry, as they demonstrate through their actions and through their relationships with the children what it means to follow Christ.
In Kids Ministry, we strive to help transform the lives of our kids as they understand who Christ is, how they need Him as their Savior, and how they are commanded to follow Him. God continues to bless us with children at Old North. Ministry is not about the multitudes, it is about individuals; it is not about programs, it is about people. And it’s about demonstrating to our children the importance of establishing a relationship with Christ so they will someday say, “Yes,” to Him as they want to follow Him and live for Him.
HS Winter Schedule of Events (Coming soon!)
If you have any questions contact Pastor Kyle at khoffsmith@oldnorthchurch.org.
There are many opportunities to grow and mature in your faith at Old North Church. Classes are offered on Sunday mornings @ 9:15 and 11am and on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm. Growth Groups are also offered in homes throughout the area on Sunday, Tuesday, & Thursday evenings (registration required). If you desire gender specific groups to meet with, Men’s and Women’s Bible studies are also offered each week.
The aim of adult ministry at ONC is to create as many disciple-making contexts as possible to foster as many mature Christians as possible. We believe discipleship is the growth in biblical conviction, godly character & ministry competency through God’s Word and with God’s people. As a group of unified disciples, we strive to speak God’s truth whenever and wherever we are able.
Old North Women’s Ministry is an extension of Adult Ministries. Our programming follows that stated goal of gathering women with God’s people around God’s word. We offer weekly Bible studies, In-depth book discussions, Fellowship Dinners, and other opportunities towards that end. The hope is that all of our women would become consistent in Bible reading, active in prayer and engaged in the Old North community.
OASIS (Older Adults Sharing in Service)

OUR MISSION
Old North Basketball uses the power of sports to teach youth the game of basketball and share the gospel and promote the discovery of Jesus in every community. We aim for athletes to be active, make championship choices on and off the court, and build confidence in what they can accomplish through basketball.
