Discipleship is part of the core of our identity at Old North. We define discipleship as growth toward Christian maturity in conviction, character, and competency through a deepening relationship with God’s word and God’s people.
We’ve also created a simple discipleship pathway that will help you make progress as a follower of Jesus. We invite you to both explore and participate in this pathway!
ON CAMPUS GROUPS will meet at Old North on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm. Childcare for children ages 0-2 will be provided. Children 3 and older are invited to participate in AWANA during the Growth Group hour.
OFF CAMPUS GROUPS will meet in individual homes on Thursday and Sunday nights from 6:30-8pm. Childcare is not provided for off campus groups.
All Growth Groups will meet 3x a month with the 4th week of each month off for Growth Group leader training.
Growth Groups are a way to connect with the church body, study the Bible together, pray together, minister to one another, and minister to those around us.
Membership Matters is a three-week class for anyone considering membership at Old North. You will be introduced to our Membership Covenant, Church Constitution and Statement of Faith. This class will explore the nature of church and what it means to be a committed partner for the gospel in and through Old North Church.
Taught by Rick Enlow & Tom Gasce
