What are you like in the inner person? Are you any different than you used to be? The Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’ teaching on the character of those who genuinely belong to God. Jesus doesn’t tell us that if you live like this, you’ll become a Christian. Rather, since you are a Christian, this is how you are to now live.
