Our Philosophy of Adult Ministries comes from Colossians 1:28-29
“We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this I labor, struggling with all his energy which so powerfully works in me.”
Our goal is:
To Know Christ and the basic truths about following Him
To Grow continually in our relationship and knowledge with Him
To Go and share with others what we know and are learning
Because of our values of Love, Instruction, Fellowship and Evangelism, Our Adult Ministries center around:
L.I.F.E. Development Classes
Life Development Classes meet during both the 9:30 and 11:00 hours Sunday mornings to study and apply the Word of God. Large classes are offered every three months taught by a variety of people.
The “Discovery Class” is designed for both newcomers and those interested in membership. It is taught by Pastor Tom Fennell and gives an overview of the ministry of Old North.

L.I.F.E. Groups (Small Groups)
Bible Study and Discipleship groups meet regularly in homes for study, prayer, encouragement, and Christian fellowship. Caring Ministries provide prayer support, visitation, and opportunities to meet physical needs.
Local Outreach ministries provide opportunities to be involved in our community. Bag Hunger, Blessed to Bless, Care Net Pregnancy Center, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Heartreach Ministries, Lincoln Place, Kingdom Meal Ministry, New Life Maternity Home, Nursing Home Visitation, Operation Blessing and the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley are the primary groups with whom we partner.
Specific Needs and Interests are also addressed. Seminars and support groups are offered for individuals dealing with abortion recovery, abuse, addictions, grief, addictions/
Singles ministries promote Christian growth, fellowship, support, encouragement, and interaction for single adults in a positive Christian environment. Golden Heirs is an organization of retired or semi-retired adults who meet monthly for fellowship, education on issues pertinent to their state of life.
Whether it is a Bible Study, Caring Ministry, Outreach Group or Special Need- there is a LIFE Group for you. Twice a year, LIFE Groups Booklets are available for September- December and January-May at the Adult Ministries Table or by clicking here.
Men’s Ministries:
Men's Ministries offer Bible studies and quarterly events such as breakfasts and a Sportsmen's Dinner.
Women’s Ministries at ONC:
Our goal is to have “Women helping women to become mature servants of Christ.” We offer the following opportunities to achieve this goal:

MENTORING
With the use of the book entitled “The Home Experience”, our homes have the potential
of each becoming a sanctuary of love and a haven of peace. This course is completed in
seven sessions as participants meet in the home of a mentor. Please prayerfully consider
