I have the pleasure of providing leadership for “all things kids” at Old North through Compass Kids, our children’s ministry.  As the director of children’s ministry, I am responsible for overseeing all activities that involve children from birth through fourth grade.  The best thing about my job is hearing that one of our kids has chosen to become a Christian as they want to live for Jesus.  Along with Alicia, our children’s ministry assistant, we aim to point kids to Christ through teaching Bible stories, singing songs, establishing healthy relationships with our volunteers and staff, and by encouraging our parents to take an active role in the Christian upbringing of their children.  I love connecting with our volunteers, our families, and especially the children who God has entrusted to us. It is so fun to see our kids grow and mature in Christ.

I met my husband while we were students at Grove City College where I majored in Christian Ministries/Social Service.  Paul and I were married in 1992, and within a month, we moved to Ohio and found Old North Church.  God has blessed us with two daughters — Abby in 1996 and Molly in 1999.  Old North is more than a church home for us; it is an extension of our family.  In my life outside of church, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing games, baking, going out to eat, painting my nails, shopping and crafting.
