It seems as if the heaviness of this world is bearing down on us all of late. So many issues of society, health, relationships, and the purpose of life have risen to the forefront of our minds. The question that I keep returning to as a Christian is this: how am I to think about and engage these heavy issues?

The book of Ecclesiastes is a book of the Bible where the heaviness of life is addressed time and time again by the author as he attempts to reconcile his earthly experience with his inner desires. Maybe you can identify with that?

In this class, we will be studying and thinking through the book of Ecclesiastes. We are calling this summer study Word and Prayer as those two disciplines of the Christian faith will be the primary activities for our Wednesday study.
